Why a Surgery Center?
Low Infection Rates
Low Infection Rates
Outpatient surgery performed at The Surgery Center at Cedar Lake significantly limits your exposure to potential infection and contagion a hospital stay for surgery presents. We only treat patients scheduled for elective outpatient procedures at our facility. Our surgery center means less exposure to possible infections. And, that means a faster recovery period.

We serve you wherever you are in life—whether it’s a pediatric procedure or a cataract removal. We have an extensive list of specialties and elective procedures to offer. Your first visit may be as a 12 year-old for a tonsillectomy. Years later you might return to have cosmetic surgery to regain that boost of self-confidence.

We want you to be comfortable! Our experienced staff provides a level of attention that is patient-centered and focused on your best surgical outcome. We realize this can be a stressful time, but you can rest assured that our staff will take care of your family during your brief stay with us.
Less Paperwork
Less Paperwork
The Surgery Center at Cedar Lake streamlines the administrative process required for your surgery; we have less admission and discharge paperwork, and that means less red tape to get into your procedure quickly. So when you arrive for your procedure you can focus on your procedure and getting back to your life.
Reduced Cost
Reduced Cost

Since we specialize in outpatient surgery, Cedar Lake has lower overhead. We pass that cost savings on to our patients. For most procedures, the costs are all-inclusive, so you know what to expect before the day of your procedure. Our helpful staff is always happy to answer questions you may have regarding costs or services. We want you to view us as a long-term provider throughout your lifetime.

Our system helps us keep scheduled procedures on track which means that you can expect to be back home the same day as your surgery. However, if at 6:00 p.m. your doctor determines that you require additional recovery time, you can remain undisturbed as long as you need, or until the following morning. An assigned nurse will coordinate your care and comfort.
